First United Methodist Church of Scotch Plains provides religious education, instruction, and discussion for all age levels.
Children’s Church School
Church School begins with children attending worship at 10:00. After the Children’s Message the children and Church School staff go to their classroom for Church School.
Adult Bible Study
Meets in the Parsonage on THURSDAY nights, 7:15 PM. Currently we’re studying Three Years with Jesus, by Charles R. Swindoll.
After Easter we will use What’s So Amazing About Grace, by Philip Yancy, as the basis for our study and discussions. The group always welcomes newcomers, and it’s not necessary to commit to every week.
There is also a Prayer meeting with Bible study that meets on Tuesday afternoons, 2-3 PM in the church library.
We encourage you to join our church’s wonderful music ministries! No experience necessary! Click here for more.
